“Beat The Drums, We Are Coming With The Trumpets”, Says Ms. Sofia.

After examining the fracas that ODM-KS is going through, one may wonder if ODM-KS was genuine from day one in its 12-point programmee. Ms. Sofia Njoroge tried to reflect on the aggression that was displayed openly by people she thought can lead the young generation in Sweden. “ODM-KS has become a freewheel, materialistic, and a place where individual advancement and domination has taken a centre stage” Grownup people like Ngatia were shouting like small children until you wonder if this are the leaders that are supposed to teach our youth to be good leaders? “We have failed our people as a committee and none of us has moral authority to lead Wakenya in Scandinavia”. In the on going fracas within ODM-KS, Mr. Munala the Secretary of ODM-KS and Ms. Sofia Njoroge the treasurer were threatened by the vice Chairperson Mr. Ngatia. He said, “people who are traitors like the secretary have no place in our modern society”. He repeatedly said that he can do anything he wanted since he does not care. After threatening Munala, he went on threatening Ms. Sofia with the same words. He said, “Disloyal people who over jumps the chairperson and the assistant cannot be allowed in our party, they can go and form theirs.” Anyone who expresses different views from Osewe’s and Ngatia’s has been attacked brutally via Osewe’s blog. Secret suspensions meetings have been arranged in the past, the latest being held last Saturday and the agenda was to overthrow committee members who are criticizing ODM-KS leadership. Mr. Ngatia said several times that they had no place for traitors in ODM-KS. On the other hand, Osewe has been terrorizing Mr. Munala with a lot of threatening short message service (sms) telling him, “Your days are numbered! You do not know how a grave tests until when you are there!” These kinds of threats are serious and we cannot just leave it like that. Ms. Sofia Njoroge said that it is time for Kenyan leaders in Sweden to tell the people their background before representing Kenyans. Speaking to Jamii this morning, Sofia said that it will be good if we can be open and say who we are and our past. “I know these people in and out and if a need a rises, I will tell Wakenya who they are and what they have been doing in the past”. The faction that was formed in Norsborg last Saturday has no shortage of dirty tricks leant from KUWA and other organizations that are either dead or have two or one member. The weak position of the faction has made many people to start wondering and questioning the intention of Mr. Osewe and his company. One of their malicious agenda was to topple Mr. Jared Odero who was one of the progressive committee member and then Ms. Sofia and Munala because by doing so, ODM-KS will remain with Osewe, Ngatia and Mrs. Opwapo. Ironically, these kinds of meetings are chaired by Mrs. Opwapo. It is very ridiculous to see Osewe who had no specific mandate within the party working day and night to overthrow Munala so that he can become the Secretary. It is very childish and if that’s politics, then to hell with these kinds of politics. Replacing Ms. Sofia with Nyambura was a very big political accident the faction did. As if that was not enough, they co-opted two new comers Mr. Njenga Muirani and Waweru. This is ridiculous because the 2 new comers are allies to Mr. Ngatia and this shows that they are looking for people who can follow them without asking questions. One of the new comers told Jamii how he was planted in ODM-KS for opportunistic agendas. It’s laughable and this shows how desperate Mrs. Opwapo, Osewe and Ngatia are and they can do anything to fulfill their dirty political games. Sofia requested all Kenyans to be enlightened and for Osewe, she said that ODM-KS is not KUWA. She requested Osewe in the name of transparency to come out and explain to Wakenya what happened with KUWA properties. Cameras, computers and even a car which belongs to KUWA are no where to be seen. Sofia said that we need to investigate Osewe and know what happened with the KUWA money and its properties. We are going to do our level best to see that the truth comes out to Wakenya in Sweden. “We are very disappointed that Osewe can lie to us for his opportunistic agenda to form ODM-KS just to divide it when the truth is tabled”, Ms. Sofia said. Many people have been questioning why is it that Osewe has been part of many other organizations that have failed. More than five ODM-KS committee members have left the committee in protest because of dictatorship within the party. “Mr. Osewe has been terrorizing people with his blog but now we have some skills in writing and we gonna put the facts in the face of Wakenya”, said Ms. Sofia. ODM-KS cannot be hijacked by opportunist leaders who are just out to finish the party. If you cannot lead yourself, how can you lead others? Lack of focus in ODM-KS and dictatorial nature in the party has divided the committee members into two groups. “The weight of a body or the length of the hair does not make you feel like you own everyone in Sweden. A complete leader is the one who knows where he is coming from and where he is going. I don’t see this in many ODM-KS leaders. Young Kenyans do not need politics of words, they need politics of food, jobs and education which is so far from ODM-KS vision”, said Sofia. Opee Jr. is a young focused boy that Osewe has frustrated too much. He was born here but he has passion for Kenya and he wants to do something for his country, how can a grown-up man like Osewe start destroying his name just because of ODM-KS? He has passion for Kenya than many of us who talk about Kenya, he wants to see change, he is ready to finance the office just like anyone else and yet Osewe is destroying his life on a blog. ODM-KS belongs to Kenyans in Scandinavia and not Osewe. It is only through dialogue that we can work together but if you continue beating drum, we are coming with the trumpets to make it complete. If there is a functioning democratic system within an organization, it is the responsibility of the committee to take up the matters brought up by members and raise them with the general membership, either through a meeting like the way we did last week or other means. Many problems within the party have been over-shadowed because the top leaders cannot deal with them. If you cannot lead 28 odm-ks members, how can you lead a whole country like Kenya? Ms. Sofia was disappointed in leaders like Osewe, Ngatia and Mrs. Opwapo who normally celebrate when a committee member leaves the committee. A good example is when Mr. Jared Odero resigned, they did not know how to talk to him and that’s why they have never considered his 7-points of why he resigned. They all rely on what Osewe will say and if he tells them to jump they ask how high. We refused Osewes domination and this was a big threat to Ngatia because they are friends. The problem is that the whole faction sings “We shall overcome if Osewe is with us.” On Saturday, Ngatia was singing “Osewe is the king, Osewe is the king”, but people couldn’t see the king until when he had to climb on a table. People like Ngatia are supposed to show good example to this young leaders but so far this hasn’t happened. Osewe and his group cannot be trusted with leadership because they have stolen two positions within ODM-KS using back door and they have failed to honor the oath of office we took last year.  Last year in November, we initiated an inner-core that took an aoth at Mr.Ngatia’s place and the cord was not to betray one another. We also had our MoU that has been violated. We blame Kibaki in Kenya for not honoring MoU but we forget that in ODM-KS we had our own that has been violated many times. What was the need of the MoU? Munala Wa Munala.

Mr. Atinga Was Not Sent To Sweden To Form ODM-KS.

If you are thirsty and you get a glass of water, and as you are just about to take a satisfying swig, you discover the water is teeming with nasty looking bugs, what will you do? You either play the bad guy or gulp down the water with all the wiggling creatures because you don’t want to hurt the feeling of Osewe and his company who gave you the dirty water. But when you think of fever and the cost of treating typhoid and dysentry, an intelligent person will refuse and say “no thanks!” or continue drinking until when you get yourself full of foreign bodies that you cannot treat and the people who offered you the water have no idea a bout what is inside. The emergency meeting that was called by Opee and Munala helped ODM-KS to get more than 6 new members and it exposed the problems that they wanted ODM-KS members to know. Our agenda was to expose the dirty games within the party and it went as planned. Bravo to all ODM-KS members who came, they had a chance to see why we called them. The meeting was attended by more than 20 members. A part from making some political noise here in Sweden, ODM-KS is irrelevant in Kenyan Politics. ODM-KS is an independent political party and not a branch as many have been informed. The party was formed on lie pretence. In the current row between Mr. Munala and his company and the Osewe faction within ODM-KS is based on the truth and lying. The Munala and company have refused to bootlick and accept the lying political style in ODM-KS. Already the party has typhoid because of drinking too much lies from Osewe. The man that Osewe claims that he came here last year to establish or rather to form an ODM-K branch is not true. Mr. Atinga came here to observe the Swedish elections that took place in Sept.2006 and had nothing to do with forming a branch party. Mr. Atinga is one of the officials of ODM-K Nakuru branch. A source told Jamii that Mr. Osewe was just invited as a guest to socialize with Mr. Atinga while he was here on an official trip. Mr. Atinga has no power to instruct any person to open an ODM-K branch. The rush to form ODM-KS was out of fear that Narc-Kenya had just launched its branch in Sweden and Osewe was worried that Mr. Jared Aroka could take an initiative to form an ODM-K branch and if this kind of move could have happened, and then Osewe could not have been part of the top organ. He hijacked the plan from Jared Aroka for his own personal gains. In our first meeting which Mr. Jared attended he declined to take any top position because he had personal differences with some individuals within the interim committee. The interim committee had already been formed through a back door. The interest to form an ODM-K branch in Scandinavia has been known to very few officials within the party. Ordinary members have been drinking ODM-KS politics in the same cup as they did in Oct. 2006 when the party was formed basically because they haven’t been told the truth. The anticipated break within the committee started in January 2007, another major blow followed last month when Mr. Jared Odero resigned from the committee. His 7 point resignation reasons were very clear that when I tried to challenge the committee to discuss them, the chairlady asked me openly if I was working for Mr.Odero. They over-shadowed the 7 point and they continued with their business as usual. Before Mr. Jared resigned, there were plans to suspend him from the committee on pretence that he was not loyal to the party. The next victim was Sofia Njoroge and then Munala. Majority of our members have given up because they haven’t gained anything out of ODM-KS and their views have been over-shadowed by the committee. The plan to recruit new committee members were laid down immediately after Mr. Jared Odero Started questioning the committee’s action plan. They wanted people who will be singing to their tune without asking any question. I tried to talk to my colleagues about the collaboration with ODM-K that was not in a good shape, but every time such motions were tabled Osewe came up with a new lie that I have spoken to Atinga and he said bla bla bla. After my trip from Nairobi, it was well known that we were not a branch of ODM-K as we had been told earlier. The executive committee in Nairobi wanted us to pay 250 000 Kshs if we wanted to be affiliated to them. Osewe continued to stick on his gun of doing propaganda even when he knew that it was damaging the reputation of the party. Kenyans in Sweden have sharpened their intelligence to be able to depart from the past instances where they just followed what so and so has said. Nowadays, they interrogate the policies of a party before they join it. ODM-KS lost focus out in February 2007. The former assistant treasurer Mr. Jared Odero had concerns why the party affairs were being controlled by few individuals but every time he tried to push this kind of motion, he was quickly interrupted by a section of committee members. Nomination a big problem. The nomination of Hon. Raila to be the flag bearer of ODM-K caused a lot of opposition within the committee. Mr. Jared who refused it immediately tried to explain to the committee members why such move was wrong but four committee members went on to nominate him on the 14.April 2007. It was a considered opinion that all members were supposed to be allowed to have a say in the nomination but the four committee members went on with the process and a statement followed of which I disanounced and the four committee members were not happy. On the same front, four committee members were furious that I was trying to tell members of public the truth. The decision to nominate Hon. Raila was based on the wishes of few who then wanted to impose their views to the party members, which I see as a subversion of democracy. The nomination of Hon. Raila was characterized by tribalism and clan feuds which are diverse persuasions we agreed upon to work together for a common good for our Kenyan people in Sweden and back home. We were supposed to support ODM-K not individuals. It was clear that Hon. Raila was a direct beneficiary of the nomination process and my view was that this process was going to divide us. It was not strange after the nomination some leaders within ODM-KS started insulting and breathing ethnicity to other committee members. Inflammatory statements have been made and now they are becoming the order of the day. Tribalism has erupted from its skins and it was witnessed on Saturday at an emergency member meeting, you could see how some members were posing like they have bought all Kenyan in Sweden on a throw away price. In supporting the right initiatives, some committee members have suffered a lot. Anyone who has shown steadfast has gone though some kind of humiliation not because they have done something wrong but because they are trying to put it right. Sofia Njoroge, Jared Odero, Opee Jr. and Munala have been under attack from a section of the committee members who believes that the party belongs to them. We are very fast to point a finger at Kenyan leaders who are corrupt and tribalist but here in Sweden, tribalism is on rampage being promoted by the same people who normally criticize tribalism in Kenya.  Kenyan community in Sweden, are looking for true leaders who can extend their good leadership to Kenya but to our surprise, politics in Sweden is based on tribalism and members of small tribes have very little chances of having power not because they are weak leaders but because they don’t have the backing boys. The hired gang from the Kikuyu ethnic group that joined ODM-KS on Saturday shows how tribalism has taken roots in Sweden. Though these are new players in ODM-KS fracas, their main agenda is to be used to destabilize ODM-KS before the opportunist can take over. A “Kitchen” committee that was formed in an apartment in Norsborg on Saturday shows how the four committee members have disobeyed democracy and instead they have chosen dictatorship as their way of ruling. Whichever ways ODM-KS goes, the opportunist faction within the committee have their personal agenda which has failed many times. Nobody is fighting for ODM-KS because it has nothing new to offers to any progressive person. Munala Wa Munala.

MASSIVE TURN-OUT AT THE ODM-KS MEETING.

The formation of a bogus alliance currently working to overthrow three ODM-KS committee members has failed. The alliance which is composed of four top committee members and a hired gang of six idle men and one woman was neutralized by the massive turn-up of the ODM-KS members that came for the emergency meeting which was called by Mr. Opee Jr. and chaired by Mrs. Opwapo. More than 20 people came and all committee members were present with one a apologizing. Four committee members had earlier met in an apartment in Norsborg to strategize on how they will sabotage the meeting thus they ended up hiring a gang of seven people to come and shout and make uncalled for noise to destabilize the meeting. The four committee members together with their newly found compatriots who were of Kikuyu ethnic and also NARC-KS sympathizers, had ealier suspend Mr. Munala out of the committee but just to be reminded in the meeting that they can not do such kind of a  move without the ODM-KS paid-Up members deciding. The group has been trying to take over ODM-KS through the back door so that they can turn it into their small political playing ground. The move was defeated through the exposure of the dirty schemes the group was using to fulfill its agenda Meanwhile the members meeting was running smoothly until when a group that was hired by the four committee members started shouting after drinking the free 7.5al beers that were offered to them by the four committee members started working. The main agenda for buying them free beer was to disrupt the meeting. They tried to destabilize the meeting but people were ready to shut them down and latter they left after seeing that what they were hired for was not worth a beer. We don’t understand how and why the chairlady could let alcohol in a members meeting. The rebuff has forced the four committee members to get back to the drawing board. The chief engineer has a history of collapsing organizations. They have contributed to the collapse of many other organizations. In the centre of embezzlement, there are many allegations that the group is just interested in taking over ODM-KS. The plot to take over ODM-KS was drawn in Norsborg yesterday and some prominent ODM-KS leaders were there. Just like any scheme, there are individuals who are never told the real agenda but are used to further the main agenda without their understanding. ODM-KS is experiencing almost the same kind of problems as another Kenyan organization in Sweden called KUWA faced some years back. The fate of the group now remains within the group which is working day and night hijacking website, hiring people to destabilize our peaceful meetings and their desperate moves to suspend committee members. Meanwhile, a man called Atinga did not mandate Mr. Osewe to form an ODM-KS branch in Scandinavia. A source told Jamii that Mr. Atinga came to Sweden to observe last year’s elections and he has no mandate to instruct people to start branch parties. Munala Wa Munala.

ODM-KS WEBSITE HIJACKED!

There is an illegal gathering in Norsborg by a section of ODM-KS committee members and some ordinary members to overthrow Mr.Munala from ODM-KS committee. Their main agenda is to suspend Munala, Sofia and Opee Jr. from the executive committee. This group has been doing things behind other committee members back and they have now been discovered. Odm-ks website was hijacked earlier this morning by the same group but efforts are being made to recover it. The same group has also hijacked the odm-ks e-mail passwords. The group has been terrorizing a section of the committee members via a blog. Investigations are still going on and we will bring you more news as soon as we get it. The prevailing problems within ODM-KScandinavia are partially associated with bad leadership within the party. It would be nice to see Kenyans in Sweden debating on the nature of leadership they desire. The most important ingredient in development of democracy and a democratic organization is good leadership. Greed and lust for power has made many leaders to fail. A good leader is the one who has a vision and goals for an organization. He/she can identify clearly the root cause of a problem and offer timely coherent and cumulative solutions. Good leaders’ offers genuine hope and public trust, have a clear ideology based on the theory of the organization and must have norms or values that makes his/her hopes a live. It is time for fresh visionary leaders who can lead Wakenya in Sweden. Munala Wa Munala.

ODM-KS IS NOT A PRIVATE BUSINESS.

I wish to begin by begging my fine readers an apology for the content of the following article. Count it on me as a person and not on my professional life. I don’t mean to hurt anyone but just to make someone to start thinking because at this particular time and age, the owner of KSB is supposed to know that whatever he writes about other people private lives shows how low and idle he is. In this age and time, why to write second hand material when the original material is available? Why to ask anyone about Munala when Munala himself is with you almost everyday? It shows how desperate he is as a person and the only way for him to get his material is on the “Rumors” front.  It is sad to see a mature man like Osewe wasting his valuable time trying to get information about Wakenya in Sweden so that he can feed his blog with something. It also shows how low, unprofessional and unethical the owner of KSB is. Any time young progressive Kenyans in Sweden comes up to challenge the so called “Kings of politics in Stockholm!”,  Osewe comes out with his unprogressive brutal propaganda to kill the ambitions of these young people, e.g. The Young Liberated Kenyans were attacked brutally by Osewe for defending the mixed marriages. Those days are gone; a new political wave that has emerged in Stockholm is threatening Osewe’s domination as a secretary. Munala now is in Control of two prominent organizations namely ODM-KS and KESOFO where members elected Mr. Munala to be the Secretary of both organizations. This development has been a threat to Osewe who is a customized secretary of many other organizations that are dead because of his domination. This time, a new blood emerged and now he claims he helped to build, how can you build a politician of my caliber in 6 month? A teacher of politics who is still a student at one the universities in Stockholm. It is very ridiculous to see a family man like Osewe still gossiping via a blog.  What Osewe wants is the same as what I want and the world is full of competition, the winner takes it all. I was not given the positions on a golden-plate and to prove it let him dare call the elections and he will see if he will be this time elected. Opee Jr. is another young progressive person that is supposed to be encouraged by the so called “Political Giants”. I would like to advice Mr. Osewe if he is a man enough, let us meet and tell me the same nonsense he wrote on his blog face to face and see what will happen. A coward dog barks from a distance because it cannot battle it out. Am not going to be pressured by Osewe so that he takes over the leadership of ODM-KS. We are here to lead and nothing else is going to stop the young progressive Kenyans in Sweden, and for people like Osewe they have to accept the reality on the ground. Their kind of politics is outdated and they have no place in our modern society. I call it a bad cheque in politics. Osewe multiplied by one million votes cannot even give you one vote, it gives you zero votes. This noise maker has no right to vote for anyone and yet he is sitting here in Stockholm making a lot of noise like a parrot “kasuku” about Kenyan politics. My major disagreement with Osewe is based on Hon. Raila’s nomination that I opposed strongly supported by other committee members and now in the current fracas he is trying to run a way from the reality and he is trying to confuse members of public with what he is good at (propaganda). Can he tell Wakenya how many ODM-KS members nominated Hon. Raila? Can he tell Wakenya what is the position of the party as per affiliation with ODM-K? ODM-KS members have a right to be told the truth and that’s what I gonna do with or without ODM-KS. A tiny faction within ODM-KS thinks that they can dictate the whole group or rather Stockholm politics, but to their surprise they find out that the young people or the so called “green horns” in politics are enlightened and cannot bootlick Osewe with his dirty politics of hate, rumors and propaganda that has no good intention rather than dividing Kenyans in Sweden. Only stupid people who are useless and hopeless will accept Osewe to construct them politically. I am now a bad person because I have said NO to his Nonsense. The other day he was writing Munala as an Angel of politics, ironically within a week’s time the Angel of politics becomes “green” and evil to Osewe and Osewe becomes the teacher of Munala. I recognize the level of disillusionment that Kenyans in Sweden have with the current political dispensation. I don’t blame Kenyans for being skeptical about the sincerity of political leaders like Osewe. The precedent of dishonest exhibited by these kinds of political leaders is that they can only help when they are the main beneficiaries. Former reformists are radically turning out to be pathetic sycophants and worshippers of tribal leaders and becoming tribal absolutism. What with blatant disregard for people like Osewe who behaves like they have bought Wakenya in Sweden and they have become their personal properties? His swaggering and how he treats Wakenya in Sweden to crude, ostentation, insults and sheer snobbery shows he does not care how other people feel. Before this man came to Sweden, Kenyans were here and they had organizations. All organizations that Osewe has been part of are either dead or divided. ODM-KS is not Osewes, it belongs to members and we cannot allow him to take it as his personal business. What have you done for the Kenyan community abroad and in Kenya which is substantial that we can see and say yes this was good? Only noise, noise and more noise. You are always on the phone investigating private people’s lives. You speak about young politicians that you have build and you forget that if you are a real woman or a man, why can’t go back to Kenya and battle it out with the real men and women in politics. Why are you just making noise from Sweden? Go to Kenya and do your politics there if you think you are the King of politics. An empty tin makes a lot of noise and I have seen a lot of empty “Mikebe” in Stockholm than anywhere else. They sing why Raila was nominated but they don’t even have a single vote to vote for him if a need arises. You can fool people for sometime but you cannot fool them everyday my friend. Sweden does not belong to you Mr. Osewe and if you think you are politically mature then you are mistaken because what I see in you is full of propaganda and not politics. Everybody has history, to some it has been good but for others it has been rough. I came from scratch because my parents were very poor. Mr.Osewe if you are abusing me because I was born from a poor seed, lucky you who were born on a golden-plate. Am happy with my life and the things I have done in my life have helped me to be who iam. Don’t be afraid to write anything a bout me, go on and I can assure you if you need more material about me then I will be more than happy to tell or even give you some hard copies that I have but still you can use your rumors network to do it if you want. My life is full of struggles and you have never added a single piece of Ugali on my plate and whatever you write is not going to reduce or add and inch to my height and by this I mean you have nothing to talk about me. Mr. Osewe you don’t even know who I am and politically we cannot even compete because you don’t have any political stand in your life. Today you are singing socialism and tomorrow you support Raila who is a capitalist in the name of “he is the only alternative” and for those who stands strong to their political ideology you wake up calling them “green horns” in politics. Where are the “red horns”? Better be a “green horn” that can vote than being “red horn” that cannot vote even for a chicken to go to parliament. A vote is a peaceful weapon for change and thus it is the backbone of politics. I belong to a generation ahead of you, how do you feel after making a lot of noise just to see nothing happening?  Don’t you make a mistake, young Kenyan politicians are coming up. If history has taught us something, young people of which some of them are just children are the freedom fighters. It is the teenagers all over the world who are actually involving themselves in the struggle to eliminate oppression and exploitation. (You call them green horns). In Congo, the refugees point out that many of the Congolese revolutionaries, they shoot all the way down to seven years old. Because the revolutionaries are children, young people in many countries are the ones who most quickly identify themselves with the struggle and the necessity to eliminate the evil conditions that exist. And here in Sweden, it has been my own observation that when you get into a conversation with the so called Kings of Kenyan politics in Stockholm, you will find that majority of them they disregard the young people. The goal has always been the same, with the approaches to it different as mine. The brutality and the evil way that KSB writes against defenseless Kenyans in Sweden must be stopped. Many Kenyans in Sweden have been victims of brutal attacks from Osewe but a day is coming when Wakenya will arm themselves with pens and papers, that day is coming. I call it intelligence time of which I know Kenyans have but they don’t have time to sit and write nonsense. I must say this concerning the great controversy in ODM-KS; dictation is dead in the world of politics as its founders. ODM-KS has lost its original flavor. It ceased to be people’s party, it ceased to be democratic, it ceased to be professional, and it ceased to be impatient. In fact, it ceased to be the party that many Kenyans hoped for. The above doesn’t stop progressive leaders like Munala, Opee Jr, and others to call a members meeting so that they can tell them the truth. The truth that Mr.Osewe is trying to run away from, the truth that has divided ODM-KS, the truth that is going to rock in Stockholm, the truth that has never been reported, the truth that has made some prominent committee members to resign. That’s what we want to tell our fine members on Saturday. Members who are politically mature and progressive will come to hear what we haven’t told them since the genesis of our party.
