Purity Muhindi has Converted Kenyatta Day Ceremony to “Friends Day”

The Kenyan ambassador to Sweden Hon Purity Muhindi has converted Kenyatta day celebration that is supposed to take place next week by replacing it with a “VIP dinner”. She has selectively chosen her friends to celebrate with her to what she calls “VIP dinner” at a place which is still a secret to many Kenyans in Sweden. A group of heavyweight dignitaries from Kenya who at the moment are in Sweden and hiding under Purity Muhindi’s umbrella are among the invited to meet carefully selected Kenyans in Sweden.

Among the invited are Kenyan politicians who are on a mission in Sweden sponsored by tax payers’ money. According to a source that alerted Jamii, the event will take place in a top secret place because they don’t want people who are “mangamangaring” around the corridors. Many prominent Kenyan leaders and common Kenyans in Sweden have been left in darkness about what they so called “VIPs” are doing in town. Jamii learned that they are avoiding some tough questions from Kenyans in this region.

Jamii discovered that the PNU/Narc- KS are in a state of panic after they learned that one their own PNU leader was in town and the top guns did not know about it.  One of the top officials wondered why they supported the party just to be betrayed at the 11th hour. The official told Jamii that he regrets why he joined the party in the first place. The dignitaries who are from Kenya are in Sweden on what they call a mission on Environmental conference.  Their existence in Sweden and Nordic countries has been kept a top secret by the master of secrets Mrs. Purity Muhindi.  Given the hostile political nature of Kenyans in Stockholm, her calculations can only be understood by those who were invited and instructed not to raise a voice to the VIPs when they meet them for what they call “meet Kenyans in Stockholm”.

They have been warned if they do raise their voices, they risk the next invitations just like when Charity Ngilu was in town last month. Jamii has learned that among the top politicians who are in Sweden is cabinet Minister Kiraitu Murungi, the minister for Energy.  A source told Jamii that the Minister  arrived here early this week and he has been operating   underground seminars  after being advised by  a scared ambassador Hon. Purity Muhindi that Wakenya In Stockholm are alcoholics. The sad part of the saga is that some top PNU and Narc-KS sympathizers in Sweden have been left behind.  Just to refresh some Kenyans memory, Narc-Ks was born and natured by Mr. Daniel Mwaura who many see as heavyweight politician especially among the Kikuyu community in Sweden.

This is not going down well especially to those who have been struggling so rigidly to build political democratic branch parties in this region. Top political leaders like Martin Ngatia, Daniel Mwaura,  Changa Midenyo, Sofia Njoroge, among others were not spared in the  isolation plate. KESOFO leaders also were not spared from the razor-sharp knife of discrimination by the lady in power Mrs. Purity Muhindi.  Kesofo expected that the chair lady would be invited to mingle with the so called “VIPs” but “loo”, the knife was so sharp that the nice lady of Kesofo was left behind.

Purity Muhindi can’t handle the stress of the main stream blogs in Sweden. She has been around for some time and what we expect from her is to see her gone. What she has done is that she has minimized Kenyatta day celebration into friendship kind of thing. She can’t handle the stress of being asked how she fired a Luhya cook and hired her cousin who is not a professional cook.  What we want to know is why is she playing cat and rat game especially when it comes to the people that we electected democratically and we pay them a salary every month. We don’t know what we are supposed to know and I think this is very scary to all progressive Kenyans.

Some who do not understand this whole concept will come up with some petty comments just because they don’t get it. They will never cry foul if the roles they voted for were reversed. The reason why they are afraid to meet Kenyans is because we have discovered their dirty games. By her hiding them from Wakenya shows that she is without the knowledge and experience necessary to act and handle Kenyans. We also know Mr. Kirautu Murungi and his political acquaintances cannot answer questions concerning the energy crisis in Kenya (The ministry that he handles).

For them to attend a session of the environmental conference in Sweden without inviting Wakenya is shameful. Meeting with leaders here in Sweden is not a big deal.  Hiding these people shows that Mrs. Purity is not comfortable, nor confident in her ability as the Kenyan ambassador to Sweden to sit before any Kenyan group, at any time, place, even impromptu, and be able to hold on. A part from organizing fancy parties to convert Kenyans into alcoholics, she has only one speech which is hanging on their website since last year. By now she should have been on Swedish news just like the Swedish ambassador in Kenya does talk shows on Kenyan national TVs.

It is very demeaning to hear that people like Kiraitu, Ngilu and the rest were in town for a shopping kind of thing when they are using tax payers’ money. By accepting this kind of behaviors and handling it in the manner many sympathizer would like it will mean that whatever they say we have to say “Yes sir” and that means we are losers.  A true leader who is professional would recognize their ability’s and their inabilities and would talk about it openly the way we do it on the blogs. Once again, Purity Muhindi has proven to us beyond doubt that she is a selfish leader and she is not qualified to be doing her job so is Kiratu and others who are under her umbrella.

Many who called Jamii team wondered why is it that the same brand when they go to other western countries; they meet Kenyans, why not in Sweden? Government officials have isolated the main stream Kenyans who have been working hard to make sure that our democratic values are respected and build from the grassroots.  Among the political heavyweights that were contacted by Jamii were Mr. Martin  Ngatia, the Vice chairman of ODM in Sweden, Changa Midenyo, former treasurer and others who were very displeasured by the ambassador’s move.

Why Mr.Daniel Kotutt is Out of Office Most of the time.

The first secretary at the Kenyan embassy in Sweden Mr. Daniel Kotutt is busy studying at Stockholm University instead of serving Kenyans in Sweden or rather in Scandinavia. Mr. Kotutt who is studying Nationalism at the Stockholm University spends most of his working hours going to school and doing his homework during working hours. Most of the times when you call him for help; he is either on another line, attending a “conference” or out of office to unknown engagements.

The course which started in summer time has made him to be out of office at least two days in a week.  It should not be surprising to know that even the top guns at the Kenyan embassy in Sweden are studying instead of serving Wakenya. As many know, the former first secretary Mr. Kinyua also exploited his position at the embassy by operating a church and studying in Uppsala University. There is little reason to explain why Mr. Kotutt decided to abandon his duties and instead decided to take the course. It is very important for Mr. Kotutt to be able to explain to Wakenya why he is misusing tax payers’ money because he uses the embassy car to go to school.

Prurity Muhindi impresses him and this is not new to many Kenyans who are praying day and night to see her get going back to Kenya. I know it is very progressive to get some more education and I have no doubt that it is very encouraging to know that some of our servants are studying.  There is nothing wrong with studying but when you have a public work, you cannot leave the office during working hours and go to school. There is no way Mr. Kotutt can tell me that he doesn’t do his homework at work. Most of us have gone through the Swedish educational system and we know that it is a hell mountain of schoolwork.

There has been a lot of complains of recent about Kenyan embassy losing touch with common Kenyans in Sweden. Their complaints are factual and make no mistake the embassy has completely lost trust of Wakenya in Sweden. I repeat again, going to school is not wrong, but don’t steal tax payers hours of service to go and do your own private schoolwork. Kotutt’s job at the embassy is not a part time job that he gets free hours every week. His job has regular scheduled hours that should probably be used to serve Kenyans in Sweden. It is very shameful for a Kenyan to call the Kenyan embassy inquiring for information which by the way is his/her right to be informed finds out that the guy who is supposed to take the phone is “mangamangaring” at some corridors in Stockholm University.

Hon. Purity Muhindi Is A “Nepotist”

One of the most misunderstood problems at the Kenyan embassy in Sweden is that Hon. Purity Muhindi and company have taken the embassy as their small personal empire. She has created a ring of sycophancy at the mission to an extend that when she passes in the corridors everyone has to say hallelujah. She is trying to play the old government superiority that when your superior passes you have to stand up and salute. She doesn’t get it that those days are long gone.

 

She Hired Her “Cousin” As A Cook.

 

It is understood that Hon. Purity Muhindi fired a luhya cook just to make a way for her relative from Mt. Kenya to take over. Jamii has learned that the woman in Mrs. Muhindi’s kitchen is a relative to the family. Jamii also learnt that the woman in the kitchen is not a cook because the real cook is on the way coming. Having said this, to me this appears to be human smuggling or trafficking if you like it that way. Based on the information that we have, Mrs. Purity knows that her days are numbered and her plan is to pump more of her associates in Sweden before she goes back home. The strategy is working for now but  we don’t know for how long it will last.

 

One will start wondering why Mrs. Purity fired her former cook just to hire her cousin. Currently, she has a new face in her kitchen and to make it clear, she comes from the Mt. Kenya region. Why the Kenyan government pays for someone to cook or do house keeping at Mrs. Muhindi’s place is something I don’t understand. Does it mean that she is very lazy that she can not make a cup of tea in morning and some Githeri (Beans and maize)? This is very shameful. I am not good in the kitchen but to hire a cook here in Sweden is something that raises our eye-brow.

 

The way to advance and make more corruptible money in a state job is to add “responsibility” which translates to hiring more people especially your close allies. Since Mrs. Muhindi arrived in Sweden, she has fired more than 3 Kenyans and hired a couple of foreigners. There are a number of jobs at the Kenyan embassy that foreigners do that could be easily done by the Kenyan population in Sweden. The reason why she doesn’t hire Kenyans is that if Kenyans do the job, the bureaucrats will employ fewer foreigners and therefore makes less money in corruption. Take for instance, the simple job of cleaning Mrs. Muhindi’s residential place. There are many Kenyan service companies that are operated by Kenyans here in Sweden and they can do that job for a very reasonable price. She decided to go for Tanzanians because they can cooperate with her corruptable nature that many Kenyans are fighting day in day out.

 

Corruption

 

At the embassy, it is stated on the passport application forms that the fee for applying for a child passport is 100ksh, but to my revelation, the immigration attaché at the embassy asked me for 3000ksh when I applied for my child’s passport. Where the 2900kshs went Mrs. Wako and Mrs. Muhindi knows better. When I tried to protest at the receptionist desk, Mrs. Wako was holed in her office tending to watch my protest in the security camera. Be it from their superiors in Nairobi or from their own way of charging poor Kenyans in Sweden, time will tell. I hope they have corrected the mess on the forms. This is one among many other mega scandals that the embassy is engaged in.

 

Bureaucracy at it’s best.

There are people who are treated special at the embassy and others are treated like what my friend Osewe calls “Odiangabuk” This Simply stated, the way most bureaucrats earn more money is by growing their bureaucracy. You don’t need a trained eye to see that since Mrs. Muhindi came here, the embassy has changed dramatically. Those who used to use it like a street toilet now are looking at it from a distance. It used to be a dagis for some Kenyans in Sweden. (For your information, you can get your new passport in three weeks which is very impressive. However I hope it was not a special case for my child who got it in three weeks.)

 

The bureaucrats who currently run the system are doing everything in their power to undermine the efforts of those Kenyans who are progressively working hard. The above has been embraced by people like Wetangula. By deliberately allowing Mrs. Muhindi to hire and fire at her will, it’s an abuse to tax payers. No one knows how much money she pays those service men and women, how many people they need to clean a building and who is doing the job. These bureaucrats at the Kenyan embassy are lying about how much it will cost to actually clean the buildings owned by the government in order to put some coins in their pockets

 

Though easy to allege, incompetence is becoming increasingly adorable at the Kenyan embassy in Sweden. While Muhindi may well have performed incompetently since she arrived here, however, she has inflicted some performance based on my child’s passport evaluation.

 

Very soon we are waiting for another corruptible event that will be organized by the Kenyan embassy in Stockholm. Heroes’ day is around the corner and the corrupt embassy officials are celebrating because another door has opened for them to swindle some tax payers’ money with pretence that they will throw a party for Kenyans in Stockholm. Don’t get me wrong, we do appreciate our heroes for what they did for our nation but we are not going to bury our heads in the sand when we see our tax payers’ money being misused. The above being said, time will tell.
