Mr. Kinyuas’ Container Disappears Mysterious.

A Kenyan who has been tired a bout the corrupt nature of the Kenyan embassy in Sweden has raised a new alarm in a series of scandals that are hiting the Kenyan embassy in Sweden. In his own words he writes, “This is about former Diplomat to Kenya Embassy Stockholm Mr. George Kinyua who is on his way of loosing a container, with all his belonging. According to the way we got this story, a Company calling it self VIP shipping company was given this contract the embassy to ferry Kinyuas stuff to Canada then they gave another company the job and the Vip did not pay the sub company and the guy went under.

After a couple of days they realized the guy called Kristian is a conman. They started following him to no success until when they reported the matter to the police that’s when the man showed up to discussed this issue with his female Kenyan friend. This is the whole matter “mjue hatuna Embassy hapa” sweden wale tuko nao ni wana biashara. When this Kamba Lady told his boyfriend that she understood the police are looking for him because of several cases, the Mr. Kristian told her this is a very short game. Your government is corrupt and that’s why things are the way they are now. He continued explaining himself why he had to do this. He said i petty innocent Kinyua because he was not on the deal and now he is suffering’s.  Awour and Vitisia asked me for quotation and because we were many who needed the job i gave them the list among others because i didnt know they will ask for some money out of my little offer, I was to do what i did cos i new they will not let this cargo get lost.

What did they expected me to do after the demanded a portion of the money? As a concerned Kenyan, when i listened to this story i felt bad because the way Kenyan know Kinyua he is not suppose to be treated this way. I was concerned and shared the issue with some friends and they told me that they knew the story through Tanzanian embassy staff, and the Tanzanian staff said may be they did it intentionally to punish Kinyua coz the same Awuor said Kinyua was transferred because he didn’t knew is work is just to mingle with Wakenya trying to please them. One question we asked is, If a diplomat don’t know his work is supposed to be transferred or is suppose to be recalled back home? Can Purity Muhindi and company answer this?

Kinyua has been instrumental to Kenyans here in Stockholm and we treasure him so much. whenever people are mourning its him and Mrs. Kiboi who you could see visiting people and giving their poles, and even when people are celebrating they there.mr Kinyua assisted so much whenever he had an chance to assist in that office.mr kinyua had a very good party organized by Kenyans in Stockholm and was graced and covered by KSB and every body witnessed him receive STOCKHOLM DISTIGUISED AWARD. From Kenyans here.

We appeal to the gornvnment to intervene and rescue Kinyua cargo b4 it’s completely lost. Mr. cheruiyots things were rescued they were in the same process because the same company was given that contract and the ladies in the Embassy had already taken their share from the same. The gorvnment money was saved after Cheruiyot was rescued b4 he was deported and Mr Kristian regretted so much after he learnt that cheruiyot was not going back.

Can we cry to president kibaki and our Prime minister Mr Raila to replace this people really they don’t know their work how can they give a person who don’t seem to have even office work. Corruption!!!!”

From A concerned Kenya.

Note: Jamii will follow the story and update you in a while.

Dr. Muhindi Escorted The Cook Who Was Deported By Hon. Purity.

The cook who was deported by ambassador Purity Muhindi last week landed in Kenya safely after being escorted with tight security. Dr. Muhindi, the husband to Purity Muhindi was in charge of the security operation and he made sure that the cook did not remain in Europe. Dr. Muhindi who escorted the Kenyan cook back to Kenya physically aboard KLM-Kenya airways made sure that the sick man did not seek asylum in Netherlands because by the time the cook was deported, his work permit was still valid for one year. With this kind of permit in his passport, this send wrong signals to Muhindi’s family because they thought the cook might overshadow their ill plan and continue working in one of the Schengen countries.

The sad part of the story is how the cook was forced to withdraw all his money from a Swedish account and carry it physically in his pocket. Basically the old man was carrying over 300,000ksh in his pocket. If the money got lost on the way, this could mean his life fortune was gone in a single minute. It is now clear that Dr. Muhindi’s job was to make sure that the old man was back to Kenya and the orders were very clear that he had to follow the cook everywhere he went while on the way to Kenya. The Kenyan ambassador to Sweden Mrs. Purity Muhindi, the engineer of the project followed the developments very closely by phone.

The Kenyan cook who was diagnosed with diabetes could have been granted asylum on claims that his life will be in danger if he is sent home because of his health background. The post election violence that rocked Kenya could have been in the centre of the application giving reasons like he will be killed if forced to return to Kenya. The country is not stable and safe for old men like the former cook to Purity Muhindi. Kenyans should be afforded the RIGHT of fair treatment and in the case between the cook and Hon. Purity Muhindi, he was treated unfair. We as Kenyans have all the rights to make noise and even go to court or stage a demo to let the world know these evils.

The embassy has some questions to answer to Wakenya. We want to know how much money the Kenya embassy spends on partying, travelling and how they award tenders. Currently, the tender to clean ambassador Purity Muhindi’s residence was awarded to a Tanzanian under a corruptible manner. After a Kenyan gardener was fired, they contracted a Swedish company for few months and after discovering they couldn’t do the “dirty” games with the Swedish company, they fired the company and awarded it to a Tanzanian. Kenyan companies like Orkarinte are very cheap but they were not given a chance to give their offer.

Another scam that is boiling within Wakenya in Stockholm is that of the contract to design the Kenyan embassy website. The contract was awarded to a friend to the Kenyan embassy under unknown circumstances. Ms. Linnet Vitisia, a Finance attaché at the Kenyan embassy awarded the contract to a website designer in a highly corruptible way and many Kenyans in this region reacted aggressively to the dishonesty nature of the contract. Mr. Olengais Saidimu who was offering a better quality website on a cheaper price was denied the chance and instead, Ms. Vitisia awarded it to her cronies. When she was asked how much the embassy spent on the website, she physically ran away from a Jamhuri day party that was organized by the Kenyan Embassy in Sweden last year at the Scandic hotel in Stockholm.

It is time the Kenyan Embassy in Sweden updates their website and recognizes Prime Minister Raila Odinga and President Mwai Kibaki as the leaders of Kenya. They haven’t even recognized Kibaki as the new president of Kenya as per their website. The embassy staffs are paid a lot of money to run the embassy which includes the website and if they are tired, they must be fired.

Kibaki And Raila Have An Uphill Task.

Following the signing of power sharing deal between president Kibaki and prime minister designate, Hon. Raila Odinga which was brokered by former UN boss, Dr. Kofi Annan and other African eminent leaders, both president Kibaki and Hon. Odinga have an uphill task in bringing forth our country into normality and making some painful concessions which would not please every one.

Whenever a deal is struck between two antagonistic forces, obviously there is a give and take situation and now President Kibaki and prime Minister designate, Hon. Odinga have a tough task of first and foremost controlling the hardliners within PNU and ODM.Already there are some politicians and some supporters from both political divide who feels that the deal which was signed by the two leaders have fell short of their expectations.

Naming of the cabinet ministers is also proving very difficult to both leaders and especially president Kibaki because he has a coalition of some many fringe parties within PNU, unlike Hon. Odinga who has one united party save Charity Ngilu’s Narc which captured four seats in parliament. President Kibaki has to convince his PNU parliamentarians that he has to accommodate Hon.Kalonzo Musyoka who is currently the Vice president. Already Hon. Kalonzo is facing dissent from some of his former strongest supporters Messrs Hon. Charles Kilonzo and Hon. Kiema Kilonzo. The two feels that, Hon. Kalonzo entered into a coalition with president Kibaki without consulting all ODM-K parliamentarians.

Within ODM, Hon. Odinga is facing the challenge of his life of whether to name Hon. Musalia Mudavadi or Hon. William Ruto as the deputy prime minister. Going by the virtual of seniority, Hon. Mudavadi is the deputy to Hon. Odinga and also during the elections; it was him who was the running mate. On the other hand, Hon. Ruto and majority of parliamentarians from Rift valley province, feels that they enabled Hon. Odinga to have more votes than any other province in Kenya and therefore they deserve the deputy premier seat. They also advance their argument that, western province have Kenneth Marende who is the speaker of our national assembly.

On PNU’s side, front runners are Hon. Saitoti, Hon. Karua, Hon. Murungi and youthful Hon. Mungatana and Hon. Kenyatta. Given the issue of gender equality, Hon. Karua stands a better chance but the problem would be that both Kibaki and Karua hails from central province.About Hon. Kiraitu Murungi is also proving tricky despite the fact that president Kibaki did received many votes from the large Meru community. He is seen also coming from the GEMA community like the president. Hon. Saitoti who is seen as a Kikuyu/Maasai has an upper hand because he is more experienced in politics apart from being tainted by the goldenburg scandal though he was cleared from all the charges which were leveled against him by the high court. Hon. Kenyatta may end up may be with one of the powerful ministry.

If all the names which are mentioned above could compromise, Hon. Danson Mungatana should be the settled one for that post. Hon. Mungatana represents the youthful generation and he has been in the fore front of defending president Kibaki and he was very instrumental in the formation of Narc- Kenya. By choosing Hon. Mungatana, president Kibaki would score some points over his critics who normally see him choosing only the old guards. Hon. Mungatana is more vibrant and more involved when it comes to policy
matters. If it was for me to decide, i would settle for him.

On the gender equation, Hon. karua, Hon. Ngilu, Hon. Dr Sally Kosgei and Hon. Beth Mugo and Hon. Naomi Shabaan are the front runners in full ministerial positions. In fact this time around, president Kibaki should give Hon. Beth Mugo a full ministerial position because it was only her in Nairobi province who really made it back and also during 2005 referendum, it was only her who delivered for the banana side. Despite the fact that she comes from the Kenyatta family, Hon. Mugo is a very hard working and down to earth woman and that’s why she is the first person to win the Dagoretti seat three times in a raw.

Apart from the ministerial appointments, the parastal jobs are also going for grabs. Both president Kibaki and Hon. Odinga won’t have it easy on this front without naming the diplomatic one. Kenyans are going to witness shake ups in all spheres of government jobs. When all this will be over, now the beginning of fall outs will soon emerge. From both political divides, there will come out individuals and groups who will feel that they were short changed and it won’t be surprising to see new political alignments and realignments within both PNU and ODM. For those who are asking who will be in the opposition, it’s a matter of time before we are going to see a very strong and vibrant opposition in our parliament.

Don’t Attack Servants Of God, Says Muirani.

God is good all the times and all times God is good. I do give him all the praise because its ONLY him and HIM alone who is my creator and also its only him who knows where i will go when i die and that’s why i am not afraid of those who can kill my physical body and do nothing more than that, but am only afraid of he (God) who can kill me and my soul too.

In the bible we are told that, Joseph was sold to Egypt by his brothers because he had a dream (vision) and when he was sold there it was a blessing is disguise because when there was famine in Israel, Jacob sent his sons to buy food there and to their surprise, it was Joseph who was the governor but since he had good attitude, he never took offence and he treated his brothers well. Despite all their efforts, they never killed Joseph’s dream and so long one has a dream in life, one will encounter all types of critics and admirers.

Concerning my Christian faith, its only God who will judge me and not human beings. When Jesus was crucified, we are told that he was crucified with two thieves and one of them went to paradise because he pleaded with Jesus to remember him once he will be there and Jesus assured him that “tonight you will be with me in paradise”. According to the people of that time, they had condemned that thief to death but thanks to God because he never judges like the way human beings do judge. Its only by turning to Christ that we will receive salvation.

Rev.Dr. Ian Paisley is the head of one the biggest political party (Protestant) in Northern Ireland and he has not been talking to Gerry Adams of Sinn Feinn (Catholics) because of the politics of Northern Ireland until recently when they agreed to share power. Rev. Jesse Jackson is another high profile clergy who also indulges in politics. The late Bishop, Dr. Henry Okullu even wrote a book about church and politics and he was very instrumental in championing the introduction of multi partism in Kenya. Dr. Timothy Njoya, the late Bishop Alexander Kipsang Muge were also very focal in criticizing Moi’s dictatorship.

I have never called myself a Pastor because in the first place i have never gone to any theological college but also to my understanding, anyone who does preach the word of God or teach it can qualify for that title though in God’s Kingdom, all will be equal and that’s what God see us as human beings because we are all created in his own image.

On my political leanings, its no secret that i have been supporting president Kibaki because its my God given right to support a candidate of my choice. In all my articles which i have written, i have never attacked any particular community in Kenya but obviously as a supporter of PNU, i had to throw so me salvos on ODM, just as they were doing. I have never used any crude language as others have been doing.

About being born a Gikuyu, i have no apologies to make to anybody because that’s what God found me fit to be born in that community and it was not my choice. I do also respect other communities because they too were created by God and that’s the beauty of creation and no community or race which is superior to the other one.

One is entitled to freedom of opinion and association and it does not mean that if one gives an opinion which another person thinks is not right, one is against that person

Muirani.
